Dispatch Board is made by Virtuoso Technologies Ltd., a Canadian company (“we”). This policy explains what personal information we collect on this website and in the Dispatch Board service, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
On this website
The website has no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics scripts. When you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company, fleet size and message by email so we can reply. We do not add you to a mailing list or sell or share these details. To stop spam, the form keeps a short-lived, one-way scrambled (hashed) copy of your connection’s IP address for up to an hour.
The site is served through Cloudflare and hosted on a web server in a data centre that may be outside Canada. Like any web server, these keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
In the Dispatch Board service
Customers put their own business data into Dispatch Board, such as loads, customers, drivers and invoices. For that data, the customer decides what is collected and we process it on their behalf to run the service. Driver location is collected only while the driver app is in use for work, so dispatchers can see where loads are.
We use account information (names, work emails, phone numbers) to give you access, send service and billing messages, and provide support. We do not sell personal information.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the service, such as hosting, email delivery and card payments. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form emails as long as needed to answer and follow up. Customer data is kept while the account is active. You can download a full backup and a CSV of your loads at any time. After an account closes, we delete its data within a reasonable period unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] or use the contact form and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
